David Storey - Biography
Member of Actors Equity, Screen Actors Guild.

David Storey has appeared in the original cast of “42nd Street” and “Peter Pan” with Sandy Duncan on Broadway. David has also performed with the American Dance Machine, Dallas Ballet, the Paramount Picture “He Said, She Said” and various television specials. In New York, David has taught for 18 years at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and Dance Space Center. David has also choreographed 5 Off-Broadway musicals including “Just So” with Andre de Shields, “Groucho” and many musical productions in Japan. Developing his own contemporary style, David has taught master classes, and choreographed wok in Japan, Italy, Holland, Singapore, France, Brazil, Denmark, and Finland.

David had his own company, David Storey DanceWorks that perfromed in and around New York until 1998. The company performed a complete original Nutcracker and 14 new works. David has also taught for the American Theater Dance Workshop, New York Dance Intensive, Eglevsky Ballet and Dance Master of America. David has also choreographed for several dance companies and concerts across the U.S including Atlanta Dance Unlimited, New Dance Collective, New ARTiculations, In The Company of Men in New York, Eglevsky Ballet, Ruth Mitchell Dance, The Kennedy Center, and currently working with Dallas Dance Company. International choreography includes work performed in Japan, Singapore and Holland. Mr. Storey was Assistant Professor for Shenandoah University and teaches every summer for the International Summer Dance at Point Park University, as well as Steps on Broadway in New York. This spring, Mr. Storey's choreography can be seen in the German film, “Behind the Curtain”, filmed in New York.
